Weekly Wrap Up
Dear Families, this week the Tirntu Learning Hub (Year 5-6) came together for our first Hub Assembly for 2026. Our Learning Hub Assemblies are an important part of our school culture. They bring children together across the learning hub, strengthen our sense of belonging, and give us time to celebrate what it means to learn and grow as a community. It was fantastic to see students settling confidently into this shared routine so early in the year. Families are very welcome to attend the Learning Hub Assemblies held on Wednesdays. Please see the school calendar and events on the website for dates and times.
Our Year 6 students are encouraged to participate in the Brighton Community Award. This program recognises and celebrates students who contribute positively to our school and wider community. Examples include roles such as traffic monitors, office jobs, running lunchtime activities and supporting in the produce garden. Through the Community Program, students can be acknowledged for these contributions, reinforcing that every action that helps others matters. We are excited to see this program grow across the year and to continue celebrating the many ways our students live our values each day.
We are also looking forward to seeing parents and carers at our upcoming Parent Information Night next Tuesday 10 February. This will be a great opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, learn more about the teaching and learning program for 2026, and understand how we can continue to work together in partnership to support your child’s learning and wellbeing.
Enjoy the weekend.
Warm Regards, Rebecca
