Last Tuesday the 8th of September, Brighton Primary School participated in the girls AFL 9’s Tigers Cup.

Our team of 12 year 5 and 6 girls participated with great speed, endurance, resilience and persistence. We battled well throughout the group stage to reach the grand final, which was an amazing achievement. Unfortunately, we went down to a strong St Mary’s Memorial team. I am extremely proud of all the girls and thank them for their efforts.

Thanks also to all of the amazing support from families and friends on the day.
