Our road crossing on Highet Ave is a rite of passage for growing up in many ways. It is often where children first start to independently cross the road to school with their parent watching from a distance. It’s also where our senior students show leadership when they become traffic monitors. This week our Year 5 students trained with a Nick from SAPOL, as they prepare for regular shifts in 2027 as Year 6s.

Safe practices from all pedestrians and drivers on Highet Avenue is paramount to everyone’s safety during school drop off and pickup times. SAPOL has kindly offered to do regular spot checks to ensure that drivers are respecting the yellow ‘no parking’ lines and speed limits so please remember this is all in the name of keeping our kids safe.
