It has been a joyful week here at Brighton!

Sports Day today was a huge success, evident by the energy, positive vibes and enthusiastic participation across the day. Our young Principal and Assistant Principals for the Day made an impression across the school community with their confidence with public speaking and recognising excellence. The honour of welcoming new children and their families to our school community to share in these joys and contribute to our culture is perhaps the highlight overall!

Don’t miss the opportunity to get involved with P&F Spooktacular next Friday from 5-7pm. Get dressed up, or just come and enjoy the live music, games and catching up with other families to kick of the weekend. Any help to get set up on the day would be welcomed by the dedicated P&F team who organise this event.

A reminder that the yellow lines on Highet Avenue indicate it is not appropriate to park even momentarily to drop children off. SAPOL have indicated they will be doing spot checks to ensure student safety, so please be aware of this.

Next Friday is World Teachers Day, please shine a light on how Brighton teachers make a difference to you and your family by sharing a positive experience here. You don’t need to name a particular teacher, we’d just love to hear what we are doing that makes an impact!

Have a wonderful, safe weekend.
