Our Year 4 students recently enjoyed a fantastic excursion to Lenswood Apple Farm, where they experienced learning beyond the classroom. Students explored the orchard, discovered how apples are grown and harvested, and learned about the journey from farm to table.

The learning didn’t stop there! Back at school, students put their new knowledge into action by cooking with the apples they brought back. From peeling and chopping to mixing and baking, there was plenty of excitement as they worked together to create apple turnovers.

This hands on experience was a wonderful way to connect learning in science, health, and sustainability, while having lots of fun along the way!
