This week the Year 1 classes have enjoyed an excursion to the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, where we participated in the Kitchen Garden program. The students got to pick, smell and taste food that was growing in the garden, as well as learning about the importance of worms. Lastly, we all got to plant our own sunflower plant and take it home with us! We all had a wonderful day learning outside of our classrooms.
