Today our school came alive with imagination, creativity, and a shared love of stories as we celebrated Book Week and Writer’s Week!

The highlight of the celebration was a vibrant assembly and costume parade, where students and staff dressed up as their favourite book characters. From classic storybook heroes to modern literary icons, our school was transformed into a colourful parade of creativity and character.

A highlight of the assembly was the announcement of the Growth of Writer award and the overall winners of Writer’s Week. We have lots of talented young authors at Brighton. Congratulations to everyone who participated in Writer’s Week.

Book Week and Writer’s Week is a highlight on our school calendar, and we’re proud to see our students embracing literacy with such excitement and imagination. Thank you to all the educators, parents, and students who helped make this event so special.
