Buzzing to begin at Brighton
We are proud of our Transition to School program called Buzzy Bees, designed to help every child feel confident and excited about starting their school journey.
Our program includes six Buzzy Bees sessions where children get to explore the classrooms, meet their teachers, and make new friends. We also build strong connections with local preschools by inviting their children to visit our school and our Foundation classes visit preschools too, helping to support the transition and build a sense of belonging.
We also know how important it is to support parents during this time, which is why we offer parent sessions where families can learn about the school, ask questions, and connect with staff and other families.
Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming start to school life, helping each child feel comfortable, make friends, and become familiar with their new school environment. With 41 children set to begin their formal schooling at Brighton in Term 3, we can’t wait to see them thrive as part of our school community.
