Colour Fun Run – It’s THIS Friday!
We’re in the final countdown—just days to go until the Colour Fun Run on Friday, 11 April!
A massive thank you to all our students and families for your amazing fundraising efforts so far. Thanks to your support, we’ve now raised an incredible $16,652 – WOW!
That means we’re already two-thirds of the way to our $25,000 goal! With just a few days left in this final week of Term 1, let’s give one last big push to help reach our target. Every dollar counts!
Lucky Dip Day – THIS THURSDAY!
Lucky Dip Prizes will be handed out THIS Thursday (Week 11) during Recess—the day before the Fun Run!
💰 Raise $30 or more to receive a lucky dip prize.
👉 One prize per $30 raised—so keep fundraising to earn more!
👕 The first 40 students who raised $15 will receive a Brighton Fun Run t-shirt.
Names will be shared with classroom teachers and released on the BPS School News webpage on Wednesday.
📍 T-shirts can be picked up at the Lucky Dip prize table—limited sizes available.
All prizes are while stocks last—so get in quick!

Why Your Support Matters
This year, all fundraising will go towards installing Cold Water Refill Stations across the school—something our students and families have been asking for!
These stations will provide:
✅ Filtered, cold water throughout the day
✅ Easy refills for drink bottles
✅ A healthier, more hydrated school environment

👕 What to Wear: A white t-shirt you don’t mind getting colourful!

Register & Fundraise
1️⃣ Visit Brighton Primary Colour Fun Run or go to www.mycause.com.au and search “Brighton Primary School” under the EVENTS tab.
2️⃣ Join your child’s class and create your fundraising page.
3️⃣ Add your child’s first name & last initial as shown in the example.
4️⃣ Repeat for additional children.
Cash Donations
Record donations on the fundraising form sent home in your child’s folder.
Return the form and cash in an envelope to the school front office CFR donation box.
Reminders
- Students must be registered on MyCause and donate a minimum of $10 to participate.
- Additional fundraising is encouraged—let’s hit that $25,000 goal!
- If you have any concerns, please contact the school office.
