Colour Fun Run – Just 2 Weeks to Go!

WOW – what an incredible week of fundraising and excitement for the Colour Fun Run! Thank you to everyone who has been fundraising.

*We’ve more than tripled our donations from last week, reaching $10,342!

*Our first Lucky Dips took place for students who raised $30 or more.


Prizes Up for Grabs

There’s still time to win big! The top fundraiser will take home a brand-new Nintendo Switch and an EB Games voucher.

Final Winners Will Be:

  • Top three overall fundraisers
  • Top fundraiser per year level (excluding overall winners)
  • Top fundraising class

Lucky Dip Rewards

  • Raise $30 or more to receive a lucky dip prize in Week 11 (one prize per $30 raised).
  • The first 40 students to raise $15 will receive a free Brighton Fun Run t-shirt (limited sizes available – pick up at lucky dip prize table in Week 11)

Our first Lucky Dip was a huge success! If your child missed out, there’s another chance in Week 11 on Thursday during Recess (the day before the Fun Run) – available until sold out.

📍 Where: School Oval
👕 What to Wear: Bring your own white t-shirt to be splashed with colour!

We’re raising funds for a Cold Water Refill Station – a much-requested addition from our school community!


How to Register & Fundraise

1️⃣ Visit Brighton Primary Colour Fun Run or go to www.mycause.com.au and search “Brighton Primary School” under the EVENTS tab.
2️⃣ Join Your Child’s Class by finding their class and clicking “Join Class.”
3️⃣ Log in with your email and name (only required once).
4️⃣ Add your child’s first name & last initial (as per the example provided).
5️⃣ Repeat for additional children.


Cash Donations

  • Record donations on the fundraising form sent home in your child’s folder.
  • Place the form and cash in an envelope and drop it in the school front office CFR donation box.

Important Information

  • Students must register via MyCause and contribute a minimum of $10 to help cover event costs.
  • Fundraising beyond the initial donation is highly encouraged.
  • If you have any concerns about participation, please contact the school office.
