Lacrosse Carnival 2025

On Tuesday the 25th of March 88 students in 12 teams played the annual interschool carnival held at Brighton Lacrosse Club. The other schools competing on the day included Seacliff, Paringa and Warradale. After all the minor rounds, we had a Brighton team in all 4 of the Finals. 2 of the teams won the Grand Final. 1 team lost the Grand final after the golden goal rule came into play and it became the first team to score in 2 minutes of play. Thank you to Teresa, Amy, Ben, AJ, Chris H for supporting our teams on the day.

Cross Country reminder

Trials will be held at Brighton on Tuesday the 1st of April at 8am. 61 students have nominated. This event is for students born in 2015, 2014 and 2013. 2015 students run 2km and 2014 and 2013 students run 3km. Qualifying times – 2km in around 10 minutes and 3km in around 15 minutes. Selected students will be invited to the South West Cross Country trials in term 2.

Boys AFL Football trails

Congratulations to the following boys who will be playing in the interschool Football trials at Westminster on Monday 31st of March: Ollie, Archie, Jaxon, Alex W, Harvey, Billy, Landon, Mason, Henry, Oscar, Ethan, Jake, Marley and Ethan.

Netball trials for year 5/6 Boys and Girls

55 students have nominated for these trials held at Brighton courts. Thursday the 3rd of April trials are for year 5 girls and year 5/6 boys and Thursday 10th of April for year 6 girls.
