Sports Day 2026 – Meet Our New House Mascots!

The excitement is building as we get ready for Brighton’s Sports Day next week! We are looking forward to a fantastic day of fun, friendly competition, teamwork and plenty of house spirit as our four houses battle it out for the Sports Day Shield!

This year, we have something extra special to add to the excitement. For the very first time, each of our houses has its very own mascot! We are thrilled to introduce:

• Leo the Leopard – Light
• Barnabeast the Crocodile – Sturt
• Flin the Fox – Flinders
• Big Red the Kangaroo – Barker

Our new mascots will be making their official debut at the Sports Day opening ceremony and will be cheering on their houses throughout the day. We can’t wait to see them in action!

We warmly invite families to come along, support our students and enjoy what promises to be another wonderful day for the Brighton Primary School community.

Get your house colours ready, bring your loudest cheers and let the countdown to Sports Day begin!
