On Tuesday 1^st September, 23 Year 5 and 6 boys represented Brighton Primary School across two teams at the Tiger’s Cup Football Carnival at Glenelg Oval. Nine teams from five schools competed throughout the day.

Brighton Yellow finished on top after the minor rounds with an impressive undefeated record of five wins. Brighton Black also performed strongly, finishing third with four wins and just one loss, narrowly missing the Grand Final on percentage.

Unfortunately, both Brighton teams were defeated in their respective finals, finishing second and fourth overall. Despite the losses, it was a fantastic day, with plenty of skill, teamwork and outstanding sportsmanship on display.

Thank you to all the parents who attended and helped Marek and Andy support the teams throughout the day. We now look forward to cheering on the girls when they compete in their Tiger’s Cup carnival next Tuesday!
