Weekly Wrap Up

Welcome back to term 3! It’s been wonderful to see our students return from the July holidays refreshed and ready for an exciting term ahead.

A highlight of the week was our very first Year 2 musical, There’s a Sunflower in My Supper, performed at Brighton Secondary School. The children sang beautifully, spoke with confidence, and lit up the stage with their energy, enthusiasm, and smiles. Each and every Year 2 student was amazing, and we couldn’t be prouder of them. It was a memorable experience, one we’re sure the children will treasure for many years to come.

A huge thank you to our music teacher Janet Parkinson, learning hub leader Donna O’Leary and our Year 2 educators for their hard work in bringing the show to life, and to our families for your support and encouragement. Thank you to the parents and grandparents helped out behind the scenes with costumes and face painting.

We look forward to another successful term of learning at Brighton.

I will be on leave next week, Karen Knox will be acting Principal during this time. I look forward to seeing everyone in week 3.

Enjoy the weekend.

Warm Regards, Rebecca
