Dear Families, what a fantastic week of learning and connection at Brighton! Our Wara Learning Hub Assembly was a celebration of student growth and achievement. It was fantastic to see our littlest learners confidently sharing their learning with a large audience of family members so early in the year.

We also came together for our Student Leadership Assembly, where we acknowledged the courage and commitment of students who put themselves forward to lead in 2026. We are so proud of all who applied, leadership begins with stepping up, and that bravery deserves recognition. Congratulations to our newly appointed leaders who will help shape our school community this year.

To top off the week, our Year 6 students participated in the first 2026 Sports Carnival, Beach Volleyball, at Glenelg beach. Students encouraged one another, demonstrated great sportsmanship and embraced the fun of friendly competition in the sunshine.

A big thank you to our staff and families for your continued support. It’s been another week full of opportunity, celebration and community at Brighton!
