Weekly Wrap Up
Dear families, assemblies are an important part of school life, bringing our community together to celebrate learning, strengthen connections and build a sense of belonging. They provide children with opportunities to share their achievements, develop confidence speaking in front of others and learn from the experiences and successes of their peers. Assemblies also help us reinforce our shared values and celebrate the many wonderful things happening across our school.
We are looking forward to two special assemblies in the coming weeks. Our upcoming Yarlu Learning Hub Assembly next Wednesday will showcase the rich learning taking place across the year 2-4 classrooms, giving students the opportunity to make their learning visible and celebrate their growth with families and peers. We will also come together for our Reconciliation Week Assembly on Tuesday 26 May, an important opportunity to reflect on our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to continue strengthening our understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Zenadth Kes peoples and cultures.
We hope to see you at our upcoming assemblies.
Warm Regards, Rebecca
