Dear Families,

A huge thank you to all the families who supported last Saturday night’s Quiz Night, and a special thank you to our dedicated P&F Committee for organising such an enjoyable event. It was wonderful to see our community come together and enjoy such a positive and fun evening.

This week, we celebrated our love of books, literature, authors and illustrators through Book Week and our Writers’ Week Assembly. In the lead up to Writers’ Week, every child had the opportunity to participate in and celebrate the writing process, creating a range of imaginative and engaging texts. Congratulations to all students whose work was shortlisted and to our overall winners. We also celebrated those students who have demonstrated significant growth and development as writers, an achievement to be very proud of. Despite the rain, the fun continued with our Book Week dress up parade, with students bringing their favourite book characters to life.

We ended the week on a high note with an energetic performance from the JAM Band.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this such a memorable week. It has been a wonderful celebration of creativity, learning and the strong community spirit we share at Brighton.
