Dear Families,

I trust that you enjoyed plenty of sunshine over the school holiday break, and perhaps getting out and about with some family time. The promise of warm weather seems to lift everyone’s spirits at this time of year!

There is great anticipation in the air here at Brighton with so much to look forward to this term! As one walks through the school, it is increasingly common to find groups of children rehearsing health hustles, crying out their house chants and practising relays. This all tells us that Sports Day is just around the corner, and we hope that families will come to join this special day next Friday 23 October. The Sports Day program and map of events will be sent by email early next week so keep an eye out for that.

In this week’s Brighton Buzz there are a number of important dates, such as Spooktacular and the End of Year Celebration Night, so please take the time to jot those down in your diary.
