Dear Families,

Another successful week of learning at Brighton, with plenty to celebrate across our school!

On Thursday night, our talented Festival Choir took to the stage at the Southern Music Festival and delivered a fantastic performance. A special congratulations to our three soloists, Emmie, Tahmid and Lilli who did a wonderful job showcasing their talents. Every student represented our school so beautifully, demonstrating confidence and a real love of music. Donna and I had the privilege of attending and thoroughly enjoyed watching the students shine on stage. We felt incredibly proud of each and every one of them! Well done, Festival Choir! Thank you to Amanda, Kim, Adriana and Helen for supporting the students.

A big shout out to our wonderful Parents and Friends Committee for organising such a wide range of community events throughout the year. These events play an important role in strengthening connections and fostering a sense of belonging across our school community. Thanks to your incredible support and fundraising efforts, we have now raised enough money to purchase a new shade structure for the Gibson Playground! We are currently seeking quotes and hope to have the new shade installed by the end of Term 1, 2027. What a fantastic achievement for our community!

Enjoy the weekend.

Warm Regards, Rebecca
