Year 2 Musical -The Bee
What a wonderful performance our Year 2 students delivered in The Bee at the Hopgood Theatre!
After weeks of rehearsing songs, learning lines, perfecting actions, and working together as a team, our young performers took to the stage with confidence, enthusiasm, and big smiles. They captivated the audience with their energy, creativity, and growing performance skills, making the production a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.
This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our Year 2 students, the commitment of their teachers and support staff, and the encouragement of our families. We are incredibly proud of every student for embracing the challenge, supporting one another, and performing with such confidence.
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make The Bee such a memorable success. We extend our sincere appreciation to our Music Teacher, Janet, for her dedication and expertise in preparing our students musically; our Primary Arts Teacher, Rachel, for inspiring confidence and bringing the performance to life; and our Learning Hub Leader, Donna, for her coordination and costumes skills. Thank you also to our Year 2 teaching team for their support, and to our staff, Phoebe, Jasmine, Kim, Karina, and Kirsty, whose help with costumes, makeup, and ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day was invaluable. Thank you to the parent volunteers for their help on the day and in the lead up to the performance. This production was truly a team effort, and we are so grateful for everyone’s contribution to creating such a special experience for our students and families.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success. The Bee was a fantastic celebration of learning, creativity, and collaboration, and one our Year 2 students will remember for years to come.
