Thanks to the support of the Academy for Enterprising Girls, a group of 40 students participated in a Young Change Agents Discovery Workshop.

This workshop supported students from grades 4 & 5 to identify problems in their school community and reframe them into entrepreneurial solutions using the design thinking process.

Students worked in teams of 4-6 in this hackathon style workshop to understand the design thinking stages of problem definition, ideation, validation, prototyping and pitching.

Throughout the workshop, students were developing an entrepreneurial mindset, skillset and toolset, which was celebrated in their final pitch presentation. We hope to participate in the program in 2026!
