School Fees

The 2020 school charges have been verified as complying with the Education Act 1972 106A. Brighton Primary School has conducted a polling process in accordance with DECD Administrative Instructions and Guidelines and the requested prescribed sum was approved by the school community and has been authorised. There may be other incidental costs for non-compulsory items and excursions.

Qkr! at Brighton Primary School

Qkr (pronounced ‘quicker’) app is available for families of students at Brighton Primary School.

Qkr by MasterCard can be downloaded for free from Apple’s app store for iPhones (iPads should download the iPhone app) or from Google Play for Android phones and tablets.

After downloading the app and registering, simply select Brighton Primary School from ‘Nearby Locations’ on Qkr or type BPSA after tapping the magnifying glass in the top right of the home screen of Qkr, and then the app will always recognise you as part of the school in future to make payments even easier.

You can pay your M&S fees, OSHC fees, order uniforms, and order canteen lunches right now using Qkr, so why not download it today and take a look at our school on Qkr!

The office will receive a generated report detailing your school payments.  Orders will be generated separately for the Canteen and Uniform Shop and will be filled accordingly.  Canteen orders on Qkr! will cut off at 9.30am on canteen days.

SCHOOL CARD APPLICATION 2020

*SCHOOL CARD MUST BE APPLIED FOR EACH YEAR*

All types of School Card applications will be available online from 13 January 2020.

You can access the online forms from any device that gets internet, including mobile devices, such as tablets and smart phones, as well as laptops and computers.

Applying online is easy! Simple follow the steps below.

STEP 1  From 13 January visit sa.gov.au/education/schoolcard

STEP 2  Select the type of School Card you would like to apply for (for example ‘Type A’) and follow the prompts.

STEP 3  Complete all mandatory fields.

Please note: you cannot proceed to the next page unless all mandatory fields are complete.

STEP 4  Once you have completed a page click on the ‘NEXT’ button.

STEP 5  Once you have filled out all pages click the ‘SUBMIT’ button.

           Please note: if you exit the form without clicking ‘SUBMIT’ your details will be lost.

You can save the form, and return to complete it at another time, by clicking the ‘SAVE’ button.

MATERIAL AND SERVICES CHARGE

Invoices for Materials and Services Charge (also referred to as School Fees or M&S Charge) are sent home at the beginning of each year, or for those who enrol during the academic year, when your child begins at Brighton Primary School. Pursuant to Section 106A of the Education Act the Chief Executive has given approval for the Brighton Primary School Materials & Services Charge as determined by The Governing Council for the forthcoming academic year for R-7 as $380.00, to be legally recoverable amounts for 2020.

Fees are due to be paid in full by the end of Term 1 – 9th April 2020. An Instalment Agreement Form, available from the Finance Office, can be completed and signed to allow for regular instalments to be made.
